18 Mar, 2013

The JUI-F Secretary General Senator Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri has said that a consensus has been evolved for the caretaker set-up in Balochistan and the chief minister would send a summary for the dissolution of provincial assembly to the governor on 19th March.
In a telephonic discussion with Okara Press Club on Sunday, the JUI-F leader said the assembly would be dissolved on Tuesday, 19th March and a caretaker set up will be in place the same day. He said it was unfortunate that the prime minister and the leader of the opposition could not agree on the name of caretaker prime minister.
He emphasised that the issue must be settled by the politicians themselves even if it is decided by the parliamentary committee. He was of the view that if the caretaker prime minister was decided by the Election Commission, people would have negative impression of the politicians that if they cannot agree on the name of the caretaker prime minister how they would resolve the future crises.
Haideri said talks are going on between the PML-N and JUI-F for electoral alliance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh. He said there has been no significant movement about seat adjustment in Balochistan but whenever a deadlocked occurred, Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Nawaz Sharif would resolve it.
