A fun fair and book exhibition was arranged here at Government Amir-ud-Din Medical College on Tuesday. Secretary Health Punjab Arif Nadeem inaugurated the fun fair and book exhibition. Principal of college Professor Dr Anjum Habib Vohra, Professor Ghias-un-Nabi Tayyab and other members of the faculty were present.
Talking to the media representatives, Secretary Health said that it is matter of great happiness for the girls and boys students of new medical college set up in Lahore which has provided them opportunity to acquire education in medical sector, along with participating in beautiful and colourful fun fair of the spring season.
The students had set up various stalls highlighting traditional culture and living of rural areas of Punjab, while decorated a pleasant atmosphere by wearing beautiful and fancy dresses and decorating stalls with utensils used in rural life, which was deeply appreciated by those who visited the fair. In the book exhibition, mostly books related to the medical research and international medical journals have been placed at the stalls.
