Nawab Barozai nominated interim Balochistan chief minister

The Balochistan government and the opposition have agreed to nominate Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Barozai as the caretaker Chief Minister of the province on Thursday. Chief Minister Nawab Raisani and Opposition leader Nawabzada Tariq Magsi held a long consultative meeting on Thursday morning to discuss the interim government set-up in the province.
"We have decided to appoint Nawab Barozai as the caretaker CM of Balochistan," Jamiat Ulema Islam - Fazl (JUI-F) former health minister Ainullah Shams told local news website. He said the name was proposed by the opposition leader Nawabzada Tariq Magsi and his allies.
The coalition partners in Nawab Raisani's government, including JUI-F, Balochistan National Party Awami, Awami National Party, Pakistan Peoples Party, Pakistan Muslim League - Quaid and independent candidates, reached on a consensus to propose Nawab Barozai as the caretaker CM of Balochistan.
Nawab Barozai belongs to the Sibi area of Balochistan. His father, Nawab Muhammad Khan Barozai, was the first speaker of Balochistan Assembly in 1970, as well as the chief minister of the province in 1970s. Nawab Barozai was also a caretaker provincial minister in the previous caretaker government in Balochistan.
