Jamaate Islami for inclusion of non-political persons in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa interim setup

Jamaate Islami (JI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ameer Professor Ibrahim Khan on Friday urged the inclusion of non-political and uncontroversial people in the provincial interim cabinet, to ensure free and fair elections. "If persons having political background, were picked up to make them part of the provincial cabinet, then JI will not only oppose rather resist the decision, Professor Ibrahim Khan warned while addressing a press conference on Friday at party provincial headquarter, Al-Markaz Islami.
This will not only affect holding of free and fair elections, but will also polluted the new government after the general elections in the province, he added. The JI claimed that his party has already been finalised their nominees for national and provincial assemblies' seats in KP and Fata, and who were received enormous warm welcome from masses everywhere.
He expressed satisfaction over former Justice Tariq Pervz as caretaker CM, and termed him neutral and undoubted person. Flanked by JI provincial general secretary Shabir Ahmad Khan and party other leaders, Professor Ibrahim expressed the hope that the caretaker Chief Minister will remain impartial and unbiased in the upcoming general elections. Although, he expressed fear of rigging 'if the persons having political background were taken in the cabinet, and demanded of the Election Commission and caretaker Chief Minister to take notice of it and foil the attempt to include political persons in cabinet.
Professor Ibrahim Khan asked the Chief Minister and EC to ensure free and fair elections and come-up with the aspiration of the masses. The dream of free and fair elections could only be come true, when the Election Commission could give financial, judicial and administrative powers, the JI further said. In reply to a query, he said that JI will oppose employee of World Bank or IMF for caretaker prime minister and the EC should also stop this trend as well, he added.
