Four persons were killed and two inured when armed men opened fire on them here on Friday. Three of deceased belonged to Punjab and one was from Karachi. According to the details, some workers were taking petrol from a petrol pump at Mughalzai area along RCD highway here today. Armed men riding a motorcycle appeared there and sprayed bullets on them. As a result four died on the spot.
They included Irfan Rasool (Jhang), Muhammad Hayat (Rahim Yar Khan), Mudassar Hafeez (Punjab) and Ghulam Ali (Liyari, Karachi). Two others were also injured. They included Bashir Ahmed and Saeed Ahmed. They were shifted to district headquarters hospital here.
