The Divisional Commissioner Hyderabad Jamal Mustafa Syed has directed the officers concerned to provide all lacking facilities and make the Expo Centre Hyderabad more attractive and functional within shortest possible time. This he directed while visiting Expo Centre Hyderabad to uphold its importance, identify problems and to address the same.
The Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Agha Shah Nawaz Babar, MD WASA Saleemuddin, Municipal Commissioner Mohammad Rafique Rajput and other officers were accompanied the Commissioner on Friday. The DC said that efficient drainage system, cleanliness, plantation and beautification of the area were more important. He directed the officers to expedite the on-going work of a drainage scheme approved by the government at its estimated cost of Rs 9 million and complete it within shortest possible time.
The DC was dissatisfied over the cleanliness in the area and other parts of the city directed the Municipal Commissioner to put its all sources in the field and maintain the cleanliness of the city. He also directed him to prepare PC-I for establishment of "Landfill Site" and to ensure mechanized system for disposal of garbage efficiently.
He directed the officers to re-design the parks in front of EXPO Centre and make it more attractive for visitors. He also directed for keeping provision of sufficient parking at Expo Centre and repairs the roads. He said that Hyderabad is agro-industrial district and has more potential in these fields. He said that Hyderabad was so rich district that not only can provide employment to the youths but for the interior Sindh as well.
