Punjab Chief Minister Sahbaz Sharif on Tuesday felicitated Hindu community on the occasion of Holi festival. In a message, the Chief Minister said that minorities had equal rights in Pakistan and complete freedom to celebrate their traditional festivals and perform their religious rites.
He said that minorities had played a prominent role in the progress and development of the country and their services in education, health and other sectors were commendable. He said that Punjab government had taken all out measures for the protection of rights of minorities and maintenance and upkeep of their worship places.
