Agri Forum Pakistan Chairman Dr Muhammad Ibrahim Mughal has urged the President, Caretaker Prime Minister, Chief Justice of Pakistan, Chief of the Army Staff and Punjab Chief Minister to make efforts for stopping the construction of all controversial dams by India.
He said that efforts should be made on a war footing to make India abide by the 1961 Indus Water Treaty. Talking to media persons here on Wednesday he said that India would render the utility of Pakistan's Neelum-Jhelum project zero by constructing the Kishan Ganga Dam on the Neelum river. He said India was busy in the construction of dozens of controversial dams and the objective was to damage Pakistan's economy and agriculture thus destroying it without any war.
