ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Standing Committee on Defence on Tuesday was briefed by Representative from Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Board (PAC) about the new commercial products made by PAC, Kamra.
The 49th meeting / visit of the Standing Committee on Defence Production was held at Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Board (PAC),Kamra under the Chairmanship of Khawaja Sohail Mansoor, MNA, said a press release of National Assembly Secretariat Islamabad. It was informed that PAC, Kamra is working on the core project “AZM” which will be completed / matured within time period of 11 years.
The Committee was shortly briefed about the future plans of making aviation city Kamra. It was informed that PAC decided to start Education Research and Development Programme with the ultimate goal of developing overall national aviation industry.
PAC wants to develop private and other public sector organization to be able to provide complete solutions to the end users. It was further informed that PAC has increased vocational training effort and invited more organization to come and open vocation institute.
After detailed briefing the Committee appreciated the efforts made by PAC, Kamra.
Mr. Muhammad Khan Daha, Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani, Ms. Amra Khan, Ms. Asiya Nasir and Mr. Bilal Rehman MNAs attended the meeting. The meeting was also attended by senior officers of the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Board.
