The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) is reported to have arrested another accused in the ephedrine quota case and a court in Lahore allowed the force a two-day physical remand of the accused. A moneychanger named Zubair Ahmad was taken into custody by ANF from Lahore. He was presented before a local Magistrate, Muhammad Aslam.
The prosecutor informed the Magistrate that the accused was involved in shifting Ali Musa Gilani's money abroad. The ANF officials informed the court that all relevant record had been seized from the laptop of the accused and he should be handed over to the ANF for interrogation for a few days. The court later allowed the ANF to hold the accused for interrogation for two days.
