Former President and chief of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML), General Pervez Musharraf (retd) has claimed that he can change the destiny of the country if masses elect him through their vote by overwhelming majority.
He stated this while talking to a private TV channel here on Sunday. Pervez Musharraf was of the view that Pakistan was passing through critical juncture of its history and it was do or die' situation. According to him, this is the right time to stand up for change. It may be mentioned here that General Musharraf has received mixed response, most of which is against him, since his arrival from UAE. An unexpectedly low number of people welcomed the APML chief while he also faced a 'shoe attack' for the first time by a lawyer in the court.
Earlier Pervez Musharraf's nomination papers for National Assembly constituency NA-48 were filed by his counsel Ahmed Raza Kasuri in Islamabad. Musharraf has already filed nominations from Chitral and Karachi to contest National Assembly elections.
