Five member Punjab caretaker cabinet takes oath today

A five-member caretaker cabinet of Punjab will take oath today (Monday) at Governor House, Lahore, official sources said. Sources said that the caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Najam Sethi had sent name of the five member interim cabinet to Governor Makhdoom Ahmad Mahmud for his approval.
The governor will administer the oath of office to the new ministers at a ceremony which will be attended by top provincial bureaucracy.
Sources said that former Inspector General Police and DG FIA Tariq Pervaiz will be given the portfolio of Home Ministry, Arif Ejaz Planning and Commerce while the Chief Minister will be responsible for the portfolios of Information and Finance.
