Small business was seen on the wholesale grain market on Monday due to lack of buying interest mainly because of higher rates, dealers said.
On the seeds side, rapeseeds Nawabshah (new) gained Rs 100 to Rs 2000-2225, rapeseeds Dadulane (new) picked up Rs 25 to Rs 2050-2075, rapeseeds Mirpurlane (new) fell sharply due to steady arrivals at Rs 1950-1975 and cakes followed same pattern, low type was down by Rs 20 to Rs 1030 and the better variety was lower by Rs 40 to Rs 1040, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh (old) low type was inert at Rs 600 and the best type was lower by Rs 25 to Rs 700, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh (new) did not any side at Rs 1100-1180,they said. Prices on grams, rice and cereals were unchanged, they said.
