The 34th death anniversary of founder chairman of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and former prime minister Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was observed with great reverence and respect here on Thursday. Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and PPP (Shaheed Bhutto) arranged functions separately in this regard.
Qura'an Khawani and fateha khawani were held in every corner of the country for the departed soul of Shaheed Z A Bhutto. People from all walks of life in their messages on the occasion paid rich tribute to Shaheed Bhutto for his services for the cause of poor and downtrodden people and for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
The main function was held at President House Naudero, which was participated by party leaders and workers of Larkana and Sukkur Division. On the occasion Qura'an Khawani was also held at the grave of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. In this connection, President Asif Ali Zardari, Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Ms Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, Ms Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, Ms Faryal Talpur, Barrister Syed Masood Kausar, Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah, President AJK Sardar Yaqoob Khan, Prime Minister AJK Chaudhry Abdul Majeed, Former Sindh Chief Minister and President PPP Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Ex-Federal Former Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Former Federal Ministers, Former Provincial Ministers visited the graves of shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and placed floral wreaths and offered fateha.
The central leaders and workers of PPPP from all over the country, were also among those who visited the mazars to pay respect to their shaheed leaders. Former Federal Ministers, Senators, Former MNAs, Former MPAs belongs to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and members of the Central Executive Committee(CEC) and Federal Council(F.C) of PPPP also visited the mazars of Shaheed Z.A Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto offered fateha and placed floral wreaths. They also visited the graves of Former Chairperson of PPP late Begum Nusrat Bhutto, Shaheed Mir Murtaza Bhutto and Shaheed Mir Shahnawaz Bhutto, laid floral wreaths and offered fateha.
The programme of the anniversary started from a Mushaira. The prominent poets from Sindh, Punjab and other parts of the country, paid tribute to Shaheed Bhutto in poetic form. President Asif Ali Zardari, Chairman of PPP Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro and Agha Siraj Khan Durrani addressed the death anniversary function at President House Naudero in early hours of Thursday and paid homage to their leaders.
They reiterated their pledge to carry forward the mission for which the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto laid down his life. They also paid rich tributes to the Shaheed Chairperson of PPP Benazir Bhutto for her great scarifices for the betterment of poor people. Peoples Doctors Forum(PDF) Larkana district, District Health Department and CMC Hospital Larkana had established free medical camps for the visitors.
