VP Saarc CCI urges people to vote for honest candidates

Vice President, Saarc Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Iftikar Ali Malik has advised general public to exercise their right to cast vote and choose only honest candidates on the day of poling. Talking to newsmen, he said the country was facing enormous problem including gas and power shortages, law and order problem, industries' closure.
In order to overcome these problems people must chose honest and dedicated people and send them in the national and provincial assemblies to work for positive change in their living standard, he urged. Referring to Saarc chamber building, he said that the construction of the building would shortly be started at a cost of Rs 2 billion.
The permanent building of the organisation is being planned to be constructed Islamabad. "It is located at a central and ideal place of Islamabad surrounded by many important government buildings and on the way to future Islamabad airport," he added. He said that a plot costing Rs 1 billion has already been acquired from government for the constriction of the building.
He further said that the government had already released Rs 350 million for the building and rest of the amount would be arranged by the chamber. The building will provide state of the art facilities, having central air-conditioning and heating system.
