Two killed in Karachi

At least two persons were killed and four others were reported injured in various incidents of violence in the city on Thursday. A 19-year-old boy named Syed Sharjeel Rabbani, who was studying at Pakistan Navy's School of Engineering and Technology at the Dockyard near Kharadar, was found dead on Khan Eissa Khan Road in the limits of Kalakot police station.
He was identified as 19-year old Syed Sharjeel Rabbani son of Gulam Rabbani who lived Karongi area. Police said that unknown shot and killed him before fleeing from the scene. Police said that Kashif was the student of Pakistan Navy School of Engineering and Technology, Dockyard near Kharadar area. Four persons were injured when unidentified armed men opened fire on a motor winding shop at Nishtar Road in the limits of Eidgah police station, police said. The shop owner named Kashif and two of his employees named Zohaib and Shahrukh and a rickshaw driver were injured. They were all shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi. A man named Sharfuddin, 35, was shot dead in North Nazimabad in the limits of Taimouria police station, police said. The police have arrested the accused and launched a probe. The victim originally hailed from Swat.
