Widespread rains likely in Balochistan

A new weather system will enter in Balochistan on Sunday and cause widespread rains in different parts of the province during Sunday and Monday. Talking to APP, an official of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said widespread rain is likely in different parts of Balochistan and scattered heavyfall is expected Qalat and Makran Divisions on Sunday and Monday.
Scattered rain with thunderstorm and gusty winds is likely in Punjab, Islamabad and Sindh on Monday and Tuesday. Isolated rain and thundershower may also occur in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir on Monday and Tuesday. According to the advisory issued by PMD, the farmers of irrigated areas across the country must adopt precautionary measures for wheat and cotton crops from Sunday to Tuesday. During the next 24 hours, the weather will remain dry across the country.
