The Lahore High Court (LHC) here on Friday dismissed a petition seeking disqualification of a former PML-Q MNA Sumaira Malik from NA-69 Khushab. A defeated candidate from the same constituency Malik Umar Aslam Awan alleged that Ms Malik done her intermediate in 1981 and managed a fake degree of B.A from University of Punjab.
The petitioner further alleged that the respondent had a chronic history of being defaulter of loans as well as she was defaulter of government revenue. The court dismissed the petition and observed that the petitioner failed to establish his case.
