Two caretaker ministers of Punjab Cabinet take oath

Two more caretaker ministers of Punjab Cabinet took oath of their offices at a ceremony held at Governor House Lahore on Friday. Punjab Governor Makhdoom Syed Ahmed Mahmood administered the oath to Jamshed Rehmatullah and Qaisar Zulfiqar Khan. On the occasion, caretaker Chief Minister Najam Sethi, provincial ministers, Chief Secretary Punjab Javed Iqbal, secretaries and other high-ranking officers were present.
The Punjab Governor and the Caretaker CM congratulated the new provincial ministers. Earlier, Najam Sethi held a meeting with Governor Punjab Makhdoom Syed Ahmed Mahmood and discussed matters of mutual interest. Later, the new ministers met Governor Punjab and caretaker Chief Minister. Meanwhile, newly appointed Chief Secretary Punjab Javed Iqbal called on caretaker Chief Minister Najam Sethi at Chief Minister's Secretariat. Najam Sethi congratulated Javed Iqbal on assuming the office. Also, matters regarding free and fair conduct of elections and administrative affairs were discussed in the meeting.
