PTI youth wing demands 25 percent tickets

Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf youth wing demanded of the central leaders to ensure 25 percent tickets' quota to youth, to emerge party a stronger force in the next general elections. The demand was made by the PTI youth wing General Secretary, Amjad Akbar Orakzai, while addressing at a press conference here at Press Club on Friday.
He said that the party chairman promised to award 25 percent tickets to youth for the next elections. But, he said the youth have completely been ignored, while no merit followed in awarding tickets. The party central leaders should take notice of awarding of tickets on the basis of favouritism and nepotism in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, he demanded.
Flanked by former president youth wing district Peshawar, Shamsuddin, Muzammil Khan, and other youth leaders, he said the tickets' quota for youth is being implemented not fully, which has created great unrest among youth. He held the provincial leaders responsible for unfair distribution of the tickets in the province.
He viewed if the youth were ignored in the next general election, the party would not emerge a stronger force in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. He demanded of the party Chairman Imran Khan and other members of central parliamentary board to fully ensure 25 percent youth quota regarding distribution of tickets in the province.
