After gambling on sporting events across the globe, bookies have started betting on different candidates of mainstream political parties, including PML-N, PPP and PTI in general elections. Bookies have fixed rates of candidates according to their worth and calibre. Sources said that Zamarud Khan of the PPP is rated at 1.45, PTI Chief Imran Khan at 1.40 and Hanif Abbasi of PML-N is rated the highest at 1.60.
