Mixed pattern on grain market

Prices moved both ways on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in process of trading, dealers said. On the seeds side, rapeseeds Nawabshah gained Rs 100 to Rs 2100-2125, rapeseeds Dadulane picked up Rs 75 to Rs 2125-2150, rapeseeds Mirpurlane New followed same pattern, gaining Rs 25 to Rs 1975-2000, cakes rose by Rs 45 to Rs 1075-1100, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh (old) inferior type lost Rs 100 to Rs 500 and the best type was unchanged at Rs 700, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh (new) low type did not show any change at Rs 1000 while the best quality was up by Rs 50 to Rs 1250, other items maintained overnight levels in process of trading, they said.
On the cereals side, Makai low type retained overnight level at Rs 2625 while the good type was higher by Rs 10 to Rs 2825, other commodity items were unchanged, they said. On the seeds sector, yellow peas Canada low type was down by Rs 100 to 4750 and the best type dropped by Rs 500 to Rs 4950, yellow peas Dall Canada fell by Rs 50 to Rs 5200-5400 and yellow peas Russia shed Rs 100 to Rs 4800-5000, they said. Prices were unchanged on the rice sector, they said.
