Nisar files petition over rejection of papers

The leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chaudhry Nisar on Tuesday filed a petition in election tribunal against the rejection of his nomination papers following his fake degree. The nomination papers of Pakistan Muslims League-Nawaz stalwart and the former Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan have been rejected for NA-53.
His candidacy was rejected during the scrutiny process for not declaring accurate details about his assets.
Objections were submitted with the returning officer that the PML-N leader had not declared accurate details of his assets.
Chaudhry Nisar had filed nomination forms for the National Assembly constituency NA-53 Taxila.
The petition against the returning officers would be filed until April 10 and the hearing will be continued until April 17.
