Pakistan Patriots Forum (PPF) on Tuesday remembered the Gyari martyrs on the anniversary of avalanche tragedy. Special prayers were held at the Rangers Headquarters mosque, followed by Qaran Khwani. Later Hamza Shahid Lodhi President of PPF Punjab, Niaz Gul Nasir, Sheikh Faisal Kareem and others paid rich tributes to the soldiers and recounted their services for the cause of Pakistan.
As many as 139 lamps were also lit by them in memory of the officers and Jawans of Pakistan Army who embraced martyrdom in Gyari sector.
