10 Apr, 2013

Pakistan People's Party (PPP) senior leader and former minister for religious affairs, Syed Khurshid Shah has said that case against former President General Pervez Musharraf (retd) would have long termed affects on the politics of the country.
He was talking to media persons after his meeting with Colonel Rao Abid Khan (retd), the PPP nominated candidate for National Assembly constituency NA-167 here in Burewala area of Vehari on Tuesday. Khurshid Shah ruled out the news regarding differences between President Asif Ali Zardari with his son and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
He said that rumours regarding rifts between President Zardari and Bilawal were baseless and negative propaganda of anti-democratic elements to defame PPP and discourage party activists. Khurshid Shah said that PPP would not tolerate any hurdle in the holding of free and transparent general election across the country and conspiracies in this regard would be dealt with accordingly.
