Soon after the falling apart of Muttahida Qaumi Movement – Pakistan (MQM-P) into two factions, another Member of National Assembly from the party has joined Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP).

Addressing a press conference at Pakistan House on Thursday, PSP Chief Mustafa Kamal announced that Dr Fouzia Hameed has joined the party. Kamal welcomed the newest member of his party and said, “The doors of our party will remain open till our last breath.”

A day earlier, two other MQM-P Members of Provincial Assembly, Naila Munir and Naheed Begum, had joined PSP. On MArch 25,  Muhajir Qaumi Movement Haqiqi's vice-chairman Shamshad Ghouri, and Kashif Mughal and Raees joined ranks of PSP.
