The Municipal Services and Parks & Horticulture Departments of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation have been directed to carry out cleanliness work after rain in different areas on priority basis. KMC Administrator Syed Hashim Raza Zaidi issued these directives during a meeting with officers of Municipal Services and Parks & Horticulture Departments at his office on Wednesday.
Administrator Karachi directed Parks & Horticulture Department to perform trimming of trees on both sides of big roads and corridors of the city and plant more trees where required not only to reduce environmental pollution but to make the city beautiful and green as well. He directed Municipal Services Department to be in contact with DMCs and provide them with machinery if required.
