A man was killed of lightening and dozens of houses damaged as rain flooded several districts of Balochistan province on Wednesday. According to details, intermittent rain started on Monday-Tuesday night played havoc in Ziarat, Harnai, Zhob, Qalat and Makran areas of the province. In Loralai, a man was killed after lightening fell on him. Dozens of houses were damaged due to heavy rain and flooded streams.
Harnai-Quetta road link remained suspended as road connecting the two cities was washed away at several places. The affected population of the rain hit districts has demanded the interim provincial government to ensure provision of medicines and edibles on priority bases besides financial assistance.
