ANP man among three killed in Karachi

At least three persons were killed in the city on Friday, police and rescue sources said. A man named Bismillah Jan, 35, was gunned down by unidentified bike riders near a tea shop in MPR Colony of Qasba Colony in the limits of Pirabad police station. Police officials said that the deceased was affiliated with Awami National Party (ANP). The body was later shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for completion of legal formalities.
Gazanfar Ali, 45, was killed in firing by unknown armed men in Toori Bangash Colony in Nazimabad No 2 in the limits of Nazimabad police station. Police said that the deceased originally hailed from Kohat. He was prayer leader at Masjid Noorul Iman. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for a post-mortem examination. Rashid, 20, was shot dead in the Sipri Goth area in the limits of Bin Qasim police station. He lived in the same area, police officials said. Meanwhile, a man named Ashraf was injured in firing by unidentified armed men near Jahangir Road. He was treated at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Another man named Kashif, 30, was also got injured in the Shoe Market area in the limits of Garden Police station. He was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi.
