Over 70,000 kids to get anti-polio vaccine

As many as 71,000 kids under five years of age will be administered anti-polio vaccine during the three-day drive starting from April 15. EDO Health Dr Iftikhar Hussain Qureshi said on Saturday that not a single polio case was reported from any part of the district Multan during the last three years.
He said that parents who refused to administer anti-polio drops to their kids were agreed now. Dr Iftikhar said that district Multan was not in the list of sensitive district with regard to polio cases due to successful polio drive by the health department. DOC Nosheen Jamshaid directed all district departments to play their role in making the anti-polio drive a success.
