"Musharraf is lucky to be kept in house arrest as he fled after being given arrest orders by Islamabad High Court". This was stated by Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan while commenting on the case, here on Thursday. The senator called former army chief an absconder, adding he dismissed the judges three times. Aitzaz said that if Musharraf's residence is converted into sub-jail, then administration of prison should take control of the entire area and his house.
He observed that the case has high constitutional value. It may be mentioned here that General Musharraf (Retd) fled from the scene after orders of his arrest by IHC in judges' detention case.
