Attacks on politicians: lawyers boycott courts in Balochistan

The litigants had to face severe difficulties as lawyers boycotted the court proceedings across Balochistan province on Thursday against attacks on PML-N leader Sanaullah Zehri and bomb attack on Ghulam Ahmed Bilour former federal minister for Pakistan Railways and attacks on other political leaders.
According to details, on the call of Balochistan Bar Association (BBA) lawyers did not appear in Balochistan High Court (BHC) and all district courts. The people visiting courts in different cases had to suffer adversely due to lawyers boycott. Black flags were hosted at buildings bar rooms on the occasion.
The lawyer's representatives talking to media expressed grave concern over attacks on political leaders on the eve of general election 2011 and demanded the authorities concerned for ensuring foolproof security for candidates contesting polls and addressing public meetings.
