Falling trend on grain market

Declining trend was witnessed on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in the process of trading, dealers said. On the grams side, grams Australia No 1 lost Rs 300 to Rs 4800-5200, grams Dall Australia No 1 drifted lower by Rs 200 to Rs 6100-6500, grams Australia No 2 followed same pattern, falling same amount to Rs 4700-5100, grams Dall Australian No 2 shed the same amount to Rs 6000-6400, grams 50x50 was down by Rs 150 to Rs 4600-5000, they said.
On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type was up by Rs 10 to Rs 3380 and the best type was higher by Rs 50 to Rs 3450, Irri white (Broken) low type fell by Rs 50 to Rs 2800 and the best type maintained overnight level at Rs 2900, they said.
On the seeds side, cake shed Rs 14 to Rs 1125-1135, til low type was lower by Rs 400 to Rs 5800 and the good type was inert at Rs 6300, castor seeds Sindh rose by Rs 25 to Rs 1625-1650, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh low variety was lower by Rs 100 to Rs 500 and the best type was down by Rs 50 to Rs 600 and cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh (new) low quality was dropped by Rs 50 to Rs 1000 and the superior type was lower by Rs 40 to Rs 1210, they added.
