Pakistan Robotics team will leave for the United States on Tuesday to participate in the 1st Lego League international Robotics competition to be held on April 24. The National Robotics Champions team will be the first ever Pakistani Team to participate in the World Festival, said a press release issued here.
Out of 20 teams, the team won the regional championship title earlier in qualifying round held for the international competition. It was also the winner team in the national robotics championship as it defeated 13 other teams.
It may be noted that out of 20,000 teams which took part in the competitions world-wide, only 85 teams were declared successful as they cleared the national qualifying rounds and now they would take part in the world festival. Saeed Akhtar is coach of the team which won the National Robotics Championship.
