The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has allowed people having expired Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) to cast their votes in the upcoming general election. The commission said on Sunday that those people whose CNICs had been expired were also eligible to cast their votes.
The ECP has taken some revolutionary steps to attract the people towards casting their votes and to ensure free and fair elections.
Shahid Afridi, a prominent cricketer, who has a huge following, has also recorded a message for the ECP to boost the election campaign.
