At least nine people were killed in two separate incidents in Afghanistan, while Taliban militants allegedly chopped off hands and legs of two Afghan men, officials said Sunday. In eastern Paktika province, three civilians were killed and seven others including two policemen were injured after a suicide bomber blew himself up on Sunday.
"A suicide bomber blew himself up this morning in a busy area in Jani Khel district, killing three civilians and wounding five (other civilians) and two policemen," the Paktika provincial governor's office said.
