Barozai speaks to quake-hit victims

Caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Ghous Barozai here Monday assured that the government would utilise all available resources for complete rehabilitation of quake-stricken people of the district. Talking to victims, the caretaker CM said the government will not let the victims alone rather it will provide them with all possible assistance until they resume their normal life.
On the occasion, he announced that the government would build a model city in the area for quake-hit people besides providing them with compensation for their losses. "Assessment of damages caused by the earthquake is being carried out and the affected people will receive compensation as soon as the survey completes", he added. He directed the local administration and other government agencies for expediting the relief operation and rehabilitation of the affected social infrastructure in the area.
He stressed for providing better medical facilities to quake victims and shifting the serious injured to the hospitals in major cities. Earlier, Nawab Barozai was briefed about relief operation and damages caused by the quake.
