Rains curtailed business activity on the cotton market on Monday as most of the participants kept on the sidelines due to said reason, dealers said. On the cereals side, Barley Sindh and Mardan old quoted at Rs 2800 and the new variety was registered at Rs 2800, Khandsari sharply up by Rs 500 to Rs 6500, other items maintained week-end levels, they added.
Only change was seen on the seeds side, where castor seeds Sindh low type was lower by Rs 10 to Rs 1615 and the best type was unchanged at Rs 1650, they said. Prices were unchanged on rice and grams sectors, they added.
