Bears retained in the driving seat on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where losers outclassed gainers amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index showed a decrease of 10.66 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3,431.23 to 3,420.57 points. The overall turnover amounted to 31,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 2,000 shares.
Total 149 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (47) closed in negative territory, 102 closed in positive territory, whereas no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Byco Petroleum was 15,000 shares. The volume of Lottee Pakistan PTA was 15,000 shares. The volume of Maple Leaf Cement was 1,000 shares.
