25 Apr, 2013

The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain has appealed to the people to take the MQM's election campaign in their hands and spread its message door-to-door. He said this while speaking at a condolence meeting held in London on Wednesday.
Condemning the deadly bomb blast at the MQM's election office at Peoples Chowrangi in North Nazimabad area, Hussain offered his deep sense of grief and sorrow on the killing and injuring of MQM workers and sympathisers and offered condolences with the bereaved family members. Hussain said that the forces inimical to the MQM were targeting innocent MQM workers in order to keep it away from the election process. The persistent killings of the MQM workers for the past ten days brought back the memories of Qasba Aligarh tragedy of 1986 and the operation clean-up of 19th June 1992. Hussain said that unconstitutional, undemocratic, and illegal were taken against the MQM in order to restrict it from launching a massive election campaign.
He appealed to the MQM workers and haq parast people to take the election campaign of the MQM in their hands and inform the people about injustices being done against the MQM. "We want to tell our enemies that our determination remains unshaken, and we are full of vigour and energy. We have made a pledge to Almighty Allah that we would not let the blood of the martyrs go to waste.-PR
