The third annual Project Management Conference will be held in Lahore from 27-28th April. This conference is being organised by the Lahore chapter of Project Management Institute (PMI). PMI is the largest professional organisation for project managers with half a million members in 180 countries.
Pakistan is going through a very challenging energy crisis. The solution to this crisis is the implementation of energy projects including hydro, gas pipelines, coal fired plants, refineries, etc. The theme of the conference has been set to explore and share ideas on how project management can be used to deliver successful projects - "Making Project Management work for Pakistan".
This conference will be addressed by local and international speakers from industry and academia. The topics for the conference include hydro projects, alternate energy projects, model for ensuring success of public sector project, leadership, program management, and public sector procurement.
