SNGPL to launch crackdown against defaulters

Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) is all set to launch a crackdown against gas defaulters of as many as 22 public sector organisations, which owed an amount of Rs 17.3 million and their gas connections would be disconnected. The SNGPL on Friday announced to disconnect the gas connections of 22 provincial government departments. According to SNGPL press statement this is the first list of disconnections by SNGPL of government defaulters of April 2013.
The defaulter include DCO office Lahore which is the defaulter of Rs 516,140, Railway Rest House Lahore Rs 593,320, Forest Officer Cooper Road Rs 300, 930, District Jail Multan Rs 8,580,160, SSP Kutchery Road Multan Rs 2,241,300, Circuit House Bahawalpur Rs 1,209,100, Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital Gujrat Rs 1,200,800, PITAC Ferozpur Road Rs 535,800, DCO office Bahawalpur Rs 313,060, Zila Council office Gujrat Rs 281,790, XEN Pak Railway Head quarters Lahore Rs 208,260, Directorate of Social Welfare Lahore Rs 195,220, Government Girls High School Model Town Lahore Rs 190,330, Railway Police Lahore Rs 169,120, Secretary Chief Minister Lahore Rs 149,450, SP Transport office Lahore Rs 141,280, Executive Engineer Central EM Div Lahore Rs 119,700, DG survey of Pakistan Lahore Rs 98,540, Sub Division officer WAPDA Building Lahore Rs 84,330, Nazim office Aziz Bhatti Town Lahore Rs 75,030, SP crime Branch Lahore Rs 57.430, Railway Head quarter Canteen Lahore Rs 47,380.
