Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader and former Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has held caretaker Prime Minister and interim provincial governments responsible for the recent wave of terrorism and urged Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and Caretaker governments to ensure security of the candidates.
He said this while talking to reporters on the occasion of joining of the PML-N by the PPP leaders Dr Hasnat Shah, Zafar Masood Bhatti and former nazims who along with their companions joined Muslim League reposing full confidence in its leadership. Shahbaz maintained that it is basic obligation of caretaker governments and ECP to check incidents of terrorism and also ensure protection of life and property of its citizens.
Talking about PTI Chief Imran Khan, the PML-N leader deplored Imran for giving clean chit to President Zardari over discrimination to Punjab in energy distribution. He said that rental power corruption case, energy crises, Hajj scandal are proof of inefficiency of PPP led government.
He said PML-Q, PPP and PTI are bent upon to divide the vote bank of the PML-N but people would foil all these designs by voting in favour of N-League candidates on May 11. The response shown by people towards the PML-N is enough to prove that people would reject PPP, PML-Q and PTI on May 11. Shahbaz said that after coming to power they would solve the chronic problem of load shedding, eliminate unemployment from the country and provide financial assistance to the youth.
