Additional Session Judge Sher Abbas Awan said that all employees deputed on election duty should perform their duties whole heartedly and passionately; no negligence on part of any official would be tolerated in this regard. He expressed these views while addressing the officers of various departments of City District Government Lahore here on Tuesday. He directed the officers to submit complete list, having staff strength in the office of District Returning Officer.
On the occasion, District Co-ordination Officer (DCO) Lahore Rizwan Mehboob said training of employees deputed on election duty would be started tomorrow in 13 constituencies of National Assembly. "Strict departmental action would be taken against absentees and criminal cases would be lodged against them," he added. He said training of deputed employees would be held and in this connection he directed the officers of CDGL to make sure the presence of their staff in election training session.
