Governor Punjab/Chancellor University of the Punjab Makhdoom Syed Ahmad Mahmud will participate in an international seminar being jointly organised by Sir Ganga Ram Heritage Foundation and PU Centre for South Asian Studies in connection with Dr Ambedkar Day on Thursday, May 2nd. Renowned speakers from both the countries, Pakistan and India, will address on the occasion.
While PU Institute of Social and Cultural Studies' Centre for Peace and Security Studies on Tuesday organised a lecture on Security Challenges of South Asian Region. Jason Burke, a British journalist and correspondent of South Asia for The Guardian and The Observer was the keynote speaker while Dean Faculty of Behavioural and Social Studies Professor Dr Zakria Zakir, DIG Special Branch Naveed Elahi, faculty members and a large number of students were present on the occasion.
