Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Secretary General Sardar Latif Khosa has claimed that his party would be emerged as the single largest party in May-11 general elections. Addressing a news conference here on Thursday, he said that PPP's vote bank is still intact that is why it will not only form coalition government in the Centre, but in all the four provinces after May-11 polls.
He said that that terrorism is the big issue of the country and Pakistan is fighting the war against terrorism, which is its own war. He said that in this war more than 40,000 people including the officials of military, law and enforcement and other innocents people have sacrificed their lives. Sardar Khosa said that elections will be held on time and there should be no doubt in this regard. He claimed that PPP will make Pakistan a welfare state.
He also regretted that PPP is being targeted and not provided a level-playing field for being an enlightened party. He said that PPP is only political party of federation which has its roots not only in all provinces, but in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
