Chinese envoy calls on chief minister Sindh

The Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh Justice (R) Zahid Qurban Alavi said that Pakistan and China are all-weather friends and the friendly relations between both the countries are solidified through testing times. He expressed these views during the call-on meeting with Liu Jian, Ambassador of China for Pakistan and his team at CM House here today.
The Consul General of China at Karachi Pan Qing Jiang and Naveed Kamran Baloch Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister were also present in the meeting. Justice (R) Zahid Qurban Alavi said that both the countries have long-standing friendly relations and China has always assisted Pakistan in various sectors. Election, the Caretaker Chief Minister told the Chinese Ambassador that the caretaker set-up pledges for organising fair, free and transparent elections and for this every possible step is being taken "We are extending all sorts of support to the Election Commission of Pakistan in this connection," CM Sindh added. In the end of the meeting, the Chinese delegation was presented with the Shields by the Caretaker Chief Minister.-PR
