Two candidates booked for violating ECP code of conduct

The City Police booked two candidates, each for National and provincial assemblies, for violating code of conduct devised by the Election Commission of Pakistan here on Sunday.
The City Police booked independent candidate for the National Assembly seat from NA-167, Ayesha Nazir Jatt for using loudspeaker at Yaqoobabad, Chichawatni road and on the charges of disturbing the comfort of the common people. The police also registered a case against another independent candidate for the Provincial Assembly from PP-233, Chaudhry Usman Ahmad Warraich and his supporter Muhammad Mansha Rehmani resident of Rehmatabad for using loudspeaker and using fire crackers during a corner meeting. The police registered the cases under 3/2/65 amplifier act.
