Punjab chief minister meets foreign journalists

In order to hold free and fair elections, a modern election monitoring system has been placed. This was stated by Punjab Chief Minister Najam Sethi here on Sunday during a meeting with foreign journalists. He said that citizens and journalists had been given access to the monitoring system pointing this would help in holding fair elections.
Speaking to journalists on the issue of law and order he said that in the background of national and international events security has been beefed up in the province. He said efficient measures have been taken with regard to law & order in the province and said that no leniency in this respect would be tolerated. Chief minister said that due to active role of media, world has turned into a global village.
