LHC benches at Faisalabad: sub-committee to evaluate proposal

According to a communiqué issued by Registrar Lahore High Court Sardar Ahmad Naeem, a sub-committee consisting of Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah, Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan and Justice Malik Shahzad Ahmad Khan has been constituted to consider and report on the advisability of establishing new benches of Lahore High Court at Faisalabad, Sargodha, D G Khan, Sahiwal and Gujranwala.
This decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial and attended by Justice Nasir Saeed Sheikh, Justice Sh Najam-ul-Hassan, Justice Kh Imtiaz Ahmad, Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik, Justice Sardar Tariq Masood and Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan. It may be pointed out that Punjab government through Governor had sent a summary to Chief Justice for evaluation of the proposal for the establishment of regional benches of the Lahore High Court.-PR
